Powered by Seiko’s Calibre V192, a calibre reliant on solar energy, be it from the Sun or an artificial light. When fully charged, the Calibre V192 has a power reserve of an incredible 6-months (without being exposed to light). It features a 60-minute chronograph, a 24-hour sub-dial and a date aperture that sits between 4 and 5 o’clock. In terms of chronometry performance, the Calibre V192 has a claimed accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month at normal operating temperatures.

This model features that ever-popular panda aesthetic, with a silvery-white dial offset by three black sub-dial registers, a date aperture with a black background and red hands. The hour markers and hour/minute hands are filled with luminescent material, and the thick bezel is black and features a tachymetre scale.

The SSC911P is encased in a stainless steel case with a diameter of 41.40mm and a thickness of only 13mm. The case size is quite understated, especially considering the amount of tech that lies beneath. The bracelet matches the utilitarian look and feel of the case, while SSC911P’s sporty look is complimented by those exposed chronograph pushers and crown.

A special vibration-resistant construction lets the watch stand up to wear while operating cutters, crushers, drills and other heavy machinery to clear away large obstacles.

This is CASIO's first analog watch to come with Mud Resist construction, which helps to ensure that nothing gets into the watch when down and dirty work takes you deep into the dirt and sludge. Multiple gaskets are used on the pipes that guide buttons and shafts, which keeps mud out. These pipes not only act to protect buttons from impact, they also enhance button operation. The screw-in force of the screw lock bezel on an internal gasket further increases mud resistance. A new bezel structure lets you visually check whether the bezel has been screwed in adequately. The face of the watch is marked with large numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock for easy reading.
