This coin watch has a 34mm diameter stainless steel case with ionic gold plating. The bracelet, also in gold finish blends harmoniously into the case. The watch has hour markers around the bezel and the glass is scratch resistant sapphire crystal. A precision Swiss quartz analogue movement will provide years of reliable time keeping.
A genuine florin coin is featured as the dial face and is available in your choice of years from 1910* through to 1963. The coat of arms design shows a shield representing each state with a kangaroo and emu chosen because neither animal can walk backwards supporting the slogan ‘Advance Australia’.
The florin was not minted in 1929, 1930, 1937, 1939, 1948, 1949, 1950 and 1955. If you choose a year where the florin is not minted, a Commemorative Dial Medallion will be fitted instead for these years. The Commemorative Dial is also available for years 1964 to the present. *Extra charges apply to coins before 1930. The Commemorative Dial Medallion is a beautiful replica of the iconic Australian Florin.
