Lovingly recreated as a desktop model, this legendary Red Baron Fokker Triplane from 1917 is decked out in trademark red, with intricate detail, with moving parts. The model is made with canvas over a lightweight wooden frame, with engine cover complete with rivets and struts, leather seat, cockpit instruments, wooden propeller , and handcrafted spoke wheels. The plane comes complete with the WW1 insignia. Accents in brass, aluminium, leather and wood.
The Fokker Triplane was a fighter aircraft flown by the Germans during World War I. The plane was flown by the Red Baron (Manfred von Richthofen) himself. Few of the original aircrafts from World War 1 exist today, preserved in safe confines by museums. You can own this bit of history with this beautifully recreated replica.
