Bring colour to the home with this crystal parrot vase which is handmade and mouth blown in Sweden. It is always a pleasure to own a piece of art that you know does not come off a production line. Each of these crystal vases are signed by its designer Ludvig Löfgren.
The process in the creation of this beautiful crystal vase involves a high level of competence and knowledge about temperature and melted glass. The glass blower gathers melted crystal on his pipe and in the smoke from the wet wooden forms, blows the glass to perfection. When cooled the vase is then hand painted in beautiful vibrant colours by skilled artisans. The crystal uses a special formulation that picks up reflected light giving the glass extra clarity ad beauty. The crystal is sensitive to heat, best to avoid dishwashing.
The vase stands 15 mms tall.
