The watch has a 38mm diameter stainless steel case with hour markers printed around the bezel and protected by the sapphire crystal. The bracelet is two-tone which harmoniously blends into the case. A precision Swiss quartz movement will provide years of reliable time keeping.
The Australian Kangaroo Penny was designed by George Kruger Gray in 1938 and the coin was used in circulation until 1966. The coin was minted from 1938 through to 1964 with the exception of 1946 and 1954. For the years where the coin was not minted and for years from 1965 through to present, a Commemorative Dial Medallion will be used instead.
You can select a genuine silver Kangaroo Penny coin or a commemorative dial medallion for your coin watch. If you choose a year where the coin was not minted, the watch will be fitted with a Commemorative Dial Medallion with your chosen year. The dials are beautiful replicas of the original iconic coins.
