This coinwatch has an Australian florin coin featured as the dial face of the watch. Each coin watch is individually assembled and fitted with a genuine circulated florin coin which is fitted into the unique dial of the watch. You can choose a specific year for your coin to commemorate a special occasion which makes it the perfect keepsake gift. The coin watch, from the Mens Summit Collection, has a classic design with a perfectly proportioned case that complements almost every wrist.
The coinwatch has an ionic gold plated stainless steel case with raised Roman numerals around the bezel. The black watch strap is hypo-allergenic genuine leather. The glass is sapphire crystal and is scratch resistant. A precision Swiss quartz movement will provide years of reliable time keeping.
A genuine florin coin is featured as the dial face: The coat of arms design shows a shield representing each state with a kangaroo and emu chosen because neither animal can walk backwards supporting the slogan ‘Advance Australia’.
You can choose a special year for your coin to commemorate a special occasion. The florin is available for years from 1930 through to 1963*. The florin was not minted in 1930, 1937, 1939, 1948, 1949, 1950 and 1955. If you choose a year that was not minted, you will receive a Commemorative Dial Medallion instead. A Commemorative dial is available in these years and from 1964 to the present. The dials are beautiful replicas of the original iconic coins.
