This Coin Watch is an elegant ladies watch fitted with a genuine Sixpence dial surrounded with Swarvoski® crystals. On the coin, the coat of arms design shows a shield to represent each state. The kangaroo and emu were chosen as part of the design to support the slogan ‘Advance Australia’ as neither animal can walk backwards.
The sixpence was minted from *1911 through to 1963 but not in 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1947 and 1949. *Extra charges apply to coins before 1930.
If you choose a year that was not minted, or the genuine coin is no longer available, you will receive a Commemorative Dial Medallion instead. A Commemorative Dial Medallion is available in these years and from 1964 to the present. These medallions are beautiful replicas of the original iconic coin.
