PRODUCT STORY:

For about as long as LEONARDO (Leo as he was known to his mates) could remember he’d had a fascination with all things aeronautical. As a youngster he’d been known to dabble with some paint and a brush and whilst that’s what most people remember him for today, he never really could get a full smile from his neighbour Lisa, who would sit and pose for Leo whilst he daubed with his brush. “Hurry up Leo, how long is this going to take?” complained Lisa. “Oh you are such a moaner Lisa”, retorted Leo. “If you don’t stop complaining, the next time we dine together may well be The Last Supper”, Leo continued.

After messing around with a bit of sculpture and music and science Leo considered himself a budding engineer and inventor. And so was born the world’s first prototype helicopter. Leo was a strict vegetarian and he figured what better way to scour the countryside for the best quality fruit and vegies than from the air

After a healthy snack of a couple of energy-boosting bananas Leo would often jump on his Gyrocopter and swing by the local hall known as the Sistine Chapel where a couple of his mates Mick Angelo and Sandy Botticelli were splashing a bit of paint around. And the rest, they say is history.

The Leonardo Da Vinci Gyrocopter comes with this story as a laminated card. This hanging mobile is made of metal and polyresin.
