This Coin Watch is a beautifully designed showcasing the iconic Australian sixpence. The watch case can be fitted with a genuine circulated sixpence coin. You can choose a coin year to commemorate a special occasion and have it fitted into the watch case making it a very special gift for a milestone birthday or wedding anniversary.
The coin watch has a 24mm diameter stainless steel case and bracelet with a butterfly fold over, dual release push clasp. The watch has gold plated highlights with hour markers around the bezel and scratch resistant sapphire crystal. A precision Swiss quartz analogue movement will provide years of reliable time keeping.
You can choose a special year to commemorate an occasion. The sixpence is available for years from 1930 through to 1963*. The sixpence was not minted in 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1937, 1947, and 1949. If you choose a year that was not minted, your watch will be fitted with a Commemorative Dial. A Commemorative Dial is available in the years the coin was not minted and also from 1964 to the present. The Commemorative Dial is a beautiful replica of the iconic Australian sixpence.
