Sixpence Pendant with 50cm Rhodium Necklace

This rhodium plated 50cm necklace features a genuine Australian sixpence in a coin holder pendant. The coin was designed by George Kruger Gray in 1938 and used in circulation until 1966. The Kangaroo and Emu were chosen for the coat of arms because neither animal can walk backwards, representing the slogan "Advance Australia".
Predecimal coins are available from 1910 to 1963 with a few exceptions where coins were not minted in that year. The sixpence was not minted in 1913, 1915, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1947 and 1949.  Please feel free to contact us if you would like to confirm a particular year the coin is available in.
Note: only available in genuine years, rare year dates will incur extra charge.
