This Coin Watch is a great Australian Souvenir. The Coin Watch is a classically designed watch which perfectly showcases the beautiful and unique character of the Australian coin dial. Choose a special year for your coin watch to commemorate a special occasion. Genuine pre-decimal circulated coins are fitted into the unique dial of the watch, each assembled individually which allows you to choose a specific year displayed on the dial of your coin watch. The coin watch is a lovely keepsake gift which can be passed down the generations.

This coin watch has a stainless steel case with numbers printed around the bezel and is protected by hardened mineral crystal. An 18mm black calf skin strap has hypo-allergenic lining and a total length of 24cm. A precision Swiss quartz analogue movement will provide years of reliable time keeping.

A genuine florin coin is featured as the dial face and is available in years from 1910* through to 1963. The florin was not minted in 1929, 1930, 1937, 1939, 1948, 1949, 1950 and 1955. You can select a genuine florin coin or a commemorative dial medallion. If you choose a year where the coin was not minted, you will receive a Commemorative Dial Medallion instead. A Commemorative Dial is available in these years and from 1964 to the present. *Extra charges apply to coins before 1930.

The florin coin is designed with the coat of arms design with a shield representing each state, and a kangaroo and emu featured because neither animal can walk backwards supporting the slogan ‘Advance Australia’.

Where a desired year is not available in a genuine coin, a commemorative medallion dial will be fitted. These medallions are beautiful replicas of the original iconic coins. The watch hands will be in  black instead of the gold hands featured in the image.
